Eric Fuentes is a guitarist, vocalist, songwriter, and record producer based in Barcelona, Spain. He is best known as the founding frontman of The Unfinished Sympathy, an alternative rock band that performed on BBC Radio 1 Peel Sessions alongside contemporaries of the Britpop and post-grunge era. His production work, released under the HangTheDjRecords label, bridges the gap between raw demo recordings and commercially polished final mixes. Eric specializes in rock production with a focus on arrangement, composition, and lyric development — taking projects from a rough idea to a release-ready mix. His collaborative work includes the track "Push Me" with Leerecs artist One Yen.
Eric works with artists across styles including alternative, indie, post-punk, and instrumental music. His workflow covers the full production pipeline: writing, composition, arrangement, tracking, and final mix. He works remotely from Barcelona, accepting projects internationally via the Leerecs production platform.
